About Us:
The Original Corvette Club of St. Louis was founded in 1979, when the
corvette was being assembled in the St. Louis plant. The club was started
as a social group of people from diverse backgrounds, with the common interest of
promoting the ownership and driving enjoyment of the corvette, America's true
sports car. That goal still remains the common purpose of our
organization. Since its early beginning, the club has grown to be the
largest corvette club in St. Louis, as well as one of the largest clubs in the
state of Missouri. Our members' cars range in age from the original 1953
to the present.
The Club remains active in civic and charitable causes. Over the course of each year, we perform in approximately 30 civic and school parades, charity car shows and various corvette competition events around the St. Louis area. We also participate in various corvette events across the country, traveling as far as the Black Hills of South Dakota.
We are also active in various fund raising activities throughout the year in support of local charity organizations. We are proud of the relationship that we have with these local charities and of the work that they do.
